GENERAL DISCLOSURES

Photos in listings are of the actual animal unless stated otherwise. Spiders are photographed using bright studio lights with a macro lens. **Color and contrast of body and chelicerae can shift significantly through successive molts. Final coloration is never guaranteed.** Lineage increases color probability in females but does not ensure mature outcome. Mature male Phidippus regius will always develop black-and-white patterning with green or blue chelicerae regardless of juvenile appearances. Sex is determined using breeder experience and is an educated assessment, not a guarantee. Jumping spiders are short-lived invertebrates, averaging 1–2.5 years, with rare cases reaching 3. Please adopt with this in mind. If an animal enters pre-molt prior to shipment, it will be held until the molt completes. Animals will not ship in pre-molt. Seller is not responsible for mismolts or unrelated health events occurring more than one week after purchase.

Payment must be made in full to secure your spider. Unfinished orders will be canceled and re-listed after 1HR.

Continental United States only. FedEx Priority Overnight only. Shipping rate calculated by zip code. **NO shipping to HI or FL.** Shipments dispatch Monday–Wednesday, weather permitting. I do not ship during unsafe temperature extremes unless shipped directly to a FedEx hub (above 95°F or below 35°F). Summer and winter rates may increase due to insulation and heat/cold/phase packs. In freezing or high heat conditions, FedEx Hub pickup is mandatory and non-negotiable. Hub delivery is strongly preferred year-round for safety. Chonky Spoods is not responsible for any order picked up more than 2 hours past pickup time at the FedEx hub. If there are any issues with a shipment, you must reach out within one hour of delivery or no refunds can be given. Not all hubs accept live invertebrates; zip code required to verify eligibility. Seller is not responsible for carrier delays, routing errors, or mis-ships once the package is in FedEx possession. Multiple animals may ship in one insulated container for the same base rate when size allows. 

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE (LAG) Valid only for FedEx Priority Overnight shipments sent to an approved FedEx Hub. Claim window: 2 hours from confirmed delivery time at the hub. Orders collected more than 2 hours after delivery void live arrival coverage. Clear photos are required:

• Animal in original container

• Shipping box with visible label

• Timestamp visible

• Sufficient lighting to verify condition

Claims submitted outside the 2-hour window are denied. Reimbursement covers the cost of the animal plus shipping. No coverage applies to residential deliveries unless explicitly agreed upon in advance under safe temperature conditions.
